We
call it "Frontier Free for All". It's what we've called
our show for years. It describes our philosophy of music and life.
A Wild Horses show will always be a no holds barred, anything goes,
party where the fan becomes just as much a part of the show as the
band. We have been around for quite a while and have played 1,000's
of shows all over this great country. We understand what folks want
for their hard earned dollar, a good time. A Wild Horses show is the
definition of a good time.
It's
been a long crazy road for us. We've drifted through a couple of major
label deals, had national top 40 airplay, and video played on CMT
and GAC. That was great, but Wild Horses and major labels didn't really
work. We refused to be turned into Mild Horses. We are the band Nashville
couldn't tame, and we're proud of that. After having played just about
everywhere, and what feels like every major country music festival
and fair on the mainland, We've planted our feet back in the Texas
soil to stay. We're home and loving it. Wild Horses is Angela Rae,
Michael Blake Mahler, Ralph McCauley, Steve Kellough and Lon Holland.
Basically, it boils down to a beautiful free spirited chick singer
surrounded by a group of hard livin', good ole' boys. We're family
in the spiritual sense and put here to do one thing. In our lives
and in our music, Wild Horses were made to be free.
